‘Unlivable’ Conditions at Little Creek Apartments: Tenants Speak Out as Management Stays Silent

JACKSONVILLE, Texas (TXAN 24) – Residents of Little Creek Apartments are speaking out about the deteriorating conditions they’ve been forced to endure, claiming that management has failed to address serious issues, leaving them in unsafe and unsanitary living environments.

Tenants have reported numerous complaints to the apartment management, yet the problems persist. One resident, who asked to remain anonymous, expressed their frustration, saying, “The living conditions are absolutely ridiculous, and the rent is too high for the living conditions they are giving.”

Among the most concerning issues are reports of large rats, described by tenants as “cat-sized,” that have made their homes in the apartment complex. However, the rodent infestation is just one of many problems. Photos provided by tenants show extensive water damage, mold growth, and peeling paint throughout the units. In one photo, the wall paint is visibly cracked and peeling, with mold growing along the baseboards – a clear indication of long-term neglect.

Despite the severity of these issues, tenants say that management has remained unresponsive. Multiple residents have voiced their concerns but have yet to see any meaningful action or communication from the apartment’s management team.

The silence from management has only heightened the frustration among residents, who feel they are being ignored despite paying rent for what they describe as “unlivable” conditions. The lack of response also raises questions about whether the complex is adhering to health and safety standards.

As the situation at Little Creek Apartments continues to worsen, tenants are left wondering when, if ever, their living conditions will improve. Without intervention from management or local authorities, they fear their concerns will continue to go unheard, and the problems will only escalate.

For now, the residents of Little Creek Apartments are demanding action and accountability – not just for themselves but for the sake of all who call the complex home.
