JACKSONVILLE, Texas (TXAN 24) — It’s time to rally, Jacksonville. The historic Tomato Bowl is just one step away from being crowned the best stadium in Texas — but it all comes down to your votes.
In the 2025 Dave Campbell’s Texas Football (DCTF) Stadium Bracket Challenge, Jacksonville ISD’s Tomato Bowl has advanced to the championship round, squaring off against Mason ISD’s Puncher Dome in a head-to-head showdown for statewide bragging rights.
The Tomato Bowl, a symbol of pride and history in East Texas, has gained momentum all tournament long — with strong support from alumni, local fans, and the Jacksonville community. Now, it faces its toughest test yet.
Voting is unlimited and runs through Thursday, April 17th at 11:59 PM CT. This is the final stretch — and Jacksonville needs every vote to bring the title home.
