TYLER, Texas – Today, March 29, 2025, the Texas Sports Museum proudly celebrates the 70th birthday of Earl Campbell, an East Texas football legend and one of Tyler’s most beloved hometown heroes.
Born today in 1955, Campbell’s legacy continues to inspire generations of athletes and fans alike.
To honor his incredible career and lasting impact, visitors are invited to explore the Current Exhibits at the Texas Sports Museum, including:
• Local Sports Memorabilia – A collection of artifacts and displays highlighting the rich sports history of Tyler and East Texas, from high school standouts to professional icons.
