With a crowd of enthusiastic supporters gathered in front of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. mural, a symbol of equity, opportunity, and strength, Shonda Marsh officially announced her candidacy for District 3. The event radiated excitement, hope, and determination as Marsh laid out her vision for the community she calls home.


“I stand here in front of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Mural, which is a powerful symbol of equity, opportunity, and strength,” Marsh began, her words echoing the spirit of unity that defines her campaign. “I am humbly and proudly announcing my candidacy for District 3.”

Marsh emphasized her commitment to unifying the community and addressing the unique challenges faced by District 3. “These notable streets in Tyler are not just landmarks; they are home,” she declared, reflecting her deep connection to the area and its residents.
