TYLER, Texas (TXAN 24) — A pedestrian was injured in a crash on South Broadway Avenue Tuesday afternoon, according to the Tyler Police Department.
At approximately 3:20 p.m. on July 9, 2024, Tyler Police officers responded to an incident in the 4500 block of South Broadway Avenue. A northbound vehicle left the roadway and struck a bus stop, hitting a female pedestrian who was waiting there.
The injured woman was transported to UT Health by EMS. Her condition is currently unknown.
This case remains under investigation. Police and emergency personnel are present at the scene, and motorists are advised to exercise caution while driving in the area.
