As a registered nurse and recent graduate from A&M Commerce's Family Nurse Practitioner Program, Mitchell's journey is one of perseverance and success.
Four Schools, Countless Success Stories
Mitchell's impact is evident through the four schools she has founded. "I have seen many individuals start new careers and work their dream jobs! I’ve witnessed multiple people accomplish things they didn’t think they could," she shared. Her commitment to education and empowerment has transformed countless lives, providing opportunities for growth and achievement.
Eyes on a Doctorate
With a master's degree now under her belt, Mitchell is already setting her sights on a doctorate. "Dr. Mitchell is definitely the goal! I’m the type of person that likes to go big or go home! I feel like nothing is off limits to me," she declared, embodying her fearless and ambitious spirit.
Family: The Backbone of Success
Mitchell credits her family as her biggest supporters. "My family is the main reason I’ve made it this far! Without them, I would not be able to accomplish as much as I have," she emphasized, highlighting the importance of a strong support system in achieving one's dreams.

Mitchell's story is a testament to the power of resilience and determination. "Overall, don’t let anything stop you! Work hard and don’t be afraid to fail. The only real failure is not getting up to try again. If I had let my failures stop me, I would not be where I am today," she advised, encouraging others to pursue their goals relentlessly.

As for what’s next, Mitchell and her family are ready to savor the fruits of her hard work. "I think right now we are just ready to live in the moment and enjoy the hard work that I’ve put in," she shared.
A Diverse Portfolio
Mitchell owns several businesses, including CBS Scrubs in Jacksonville, Texas, Brighter Sky Learning Academy daycare, and Necole’s Learning Academy with locations in Longview, Tyler, Jacksonville, and Garland. This week, she’s launching Roadway Driving Academy, catering to teens and adults aiming to obtain their driver’s licenses or needing driving courses for other reasons.
A Journey of Determination
Mitchell’s career began as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), followed by becoming a medication aide. Despite financial constraints, she persevered, step by step, to complete her nursing program and become a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). Her passion for helping others led her to further her education, earning an associate's degree in nursing (ADN), a bachelor's degree, and now a master's.
"Never give up. It's going to be hard and challenging, but keep going. The sky's the limit," Mitchell advises. "It is okay to start at the bottom; it can be used as a stepping stone to work your way up to higher positions. Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t do it all because I’m the example that you can."
