TYLER, Texas (TXAN 24) — Tyler’s rich architectural heritage takes center stage as the ‘Historic Tyler on Tour’ returns on March 29-30, 2025. This annual event offers a rare opportunity to step inside some of the city’s most historically significant homes, providing a glimpse into Tyler’s past while celebrating the importance of preservation.


This year’s tour highlights four unique historic residences, each representing different architectural styles and time periods that have shaped Tyler’s development. The event is organized by Historic Tyler, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to preserving the city’s cultural and architectural legacy.

• $25 for non-members

• $15 for Historic Tyler members

This year, special attention is given to Mid-Century Modern designs, as the Pollard Residential Historic District has been nominated for the National Register of Historic Places.
